PREORDER MATCHES BELOW

You can order below now, but please note that matchboxes will ship out the week of June 11th (we are hand printing more right now!)

Per U.S. mail regulations, we have to ship all flammable products by ground. This means they will take a bit longer to get to you than other products. Exactly how long depends on where you live.

If you live outside of the U.S., we have to remove the matches themselves from your package as we cannot send flammable objects abroad.

Thank you!

If you are also purchasing art from ravizupa.com,
contact [email protected] to combine shipping.

JonBenet's Tricycle: Documentary Film Poster

7-color Screen Print

11" x 17"

Edition of 100

This poster was created for filmmaker Andrew Novick's 2017 documentary entitled "Jonbenet's Tricycle."

Yuri

5-color Screen Print

24" x 36"

Edition of 25

Collaboration with Ravi. Yuri Gagarin was a Russian astronaut, and the first human to go into outer space.

Hot Dog Cat

7-color Screen Print

18" x 24"

Edition of 25

This poster was created to be part of a group show with the theme “innuendo”.

Bike Cat

6-color Screen Print

18" x 24"

Edition of 25

Instead of some fake cat pretending to be joyfully riding a bike, I made some real shit. This was a “cat”-astrophe! He crashed!

Whose Graveyard

1-color Screen Print

4.5" x 6"

Not Editioned

Whose graveyard is this? The perennial question. This grim reaper is inspired by a Russian prison tattoo. The words are something Ravi said when he was half asleep.

Friendship

5-color Screen Print

18" x 24"

Edition of 25

Inspired by old advertisements for magic posters. Ravi Zupa drew some of the tattoos.

Never Forget

6-color Screen Print

24" x 36"

Edition of 80

When my mom retired, I drew an elephant escaping from a burning circus tent toward freedom. She said “Uh huh! Look at that…”. She doesn’t understand my art. Later, Ravi and I developed this poster, both contributing to concept, drawing and computer work. We have learned to work together over the years, and we get better each time, but after each collab I vow to never work with him again. On a neat and unexpected side note, this print was released the same month that Barnum & Bailey stopped using elephants.

Unbelievable

6-color Screen Print

18" x 24"

Edition of 25

Inspired by old advertisements for magic posters. I drew the loop using the two-point perspective method.

Learn to Trust

5-color Screen Print

18" x 24"

Edition of 5

Inspired by old advertisements for magic posters. Hint: penguins are flightless birds.

Big Day

4-color Screen Print

6" x 8"

Not Editioned

Ring Tailed Lemurs hold their tails up so they can all keep track of one another. These prints originally came from a poster I did a while ago. They deserve to be the star of the show.

Laika

5-color Screen Print

24" x 36"

Edition of 5

Laika was the first dog to orbit the earth. She was a dog from the streets, hence the words “Started from the bottom now we’re here”. She went up in the Sputnik, and died from heat. Belka and Strelka were to go up after her, and survive. Collaboration with Ravi.

Astounding

5-color Screen Print

18" x 24"

Edition of 25

We all know that dinosaurs like to spin yarns.

Second Most Memorable

5-color Screen Print

18" x 24"

Edition of 25

What was his first most memorable experience??

The After Party

5-color Screen Print

18" x 24"

Edition of 25

I originally designed this poster for PBR’s yearly design competition. I did not hear back from them.
